In Chicagoland, 340,000 children live in poverty. In addition, 85% of Chicago Public School students are African American and Latino, many children aren’t prepared for school because they lack supplies.
Chicago Pre-College Science & Engineering is focused on meeting Chicago Public School student needs and connecting them to science, technology, engineering and math (STEM) education opportunities.
Donations from the employee drive will allow the organization to purchase much needed school supplies for students and prepare them for academic success this school year.
